There is a huge difference between paying a compliment because you genuinely mean it and just want to share it, and paying a compliment because you expect something in return… Expecting any single thing in return for kind words negates the compliment. It isn’t a compliment if you think I owe you something for giving me one.

Hello everyone!
My good friend Kelli was selected to participate in an internship with INDEX: Design to Improve Life, which is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. The internship is for three months (April 2013 - June 2013) and if you haven’t guessed it, its very expensive.
Thats why I’m posting. For the past couple months Kelli has been working her ass off getting prepared for her 3 month trip away from home. She has saved enough money to cover her home expenses and to take care of her husband. But to obtain a work Visa for her internship she must show that she has at least $3,600 in disposable income to live in Denmark.
